The Indigo Aso-Oke Set
For: Family aso-ebi where the cloth is hand-woven and chosen for you
Hand-woven indigo aso-oke cut as a plain buba and sokoto. When the family cloth is this good, the tailor's job is to stay out of the way — no embroidery, no shine.

On your frame
- Broad / muscular — Deep side slits, elbow-length sleeve, and no waist seam — let the cloth hang.
- Tall and lean — Take the top longer to mid-thigh so the woven stripe has room to read.
- Compact — Hem the top at the high hip and taper the trouser to the ankle bone.
- Fuller figure — Straight cut through the body, cotton facing at the neck, unlined throughout.
What to do next
01 — The introduction
If this is the shape you want, tell me the occasion and date and I will point you at the right house for it.
Tell me the occasion, the date and your budget bracket. Within 24 hours you get back: two or three houses I would actually approach and why those and not others, the alterations to insist on for your build, a realistic timeline for your date, and a short written brief you can hand to the tailor at the first fitting.
- No fee, no commission, nothing sold here.
- If nobody I trust fits your date or budget, I say so.
- Read by me, answered by me.
02 — If the date is further off
