On your frame
- Broad / muscular — Single-breast it. Double-breasted patch pockets on a broad chest add width you do not need.
- Tall and lean — Longer jacket, wider trouser — the standard cut reads boyish on height.
- Compact — Higher trouser rise, shorter jacket, and drop the lower patch pockets.
- Fuller figure — Ask for a straight trouser and lose the belt detail across the waist.
